Notation on the iPad

I have been trying to find the best app for taking notes, whether that's hand written notes, typed notes, or even audio. I have downloaded both PenUltimate, and PaperDesk. SmartNote, which I wrote about in an earlier post, is kinda included. The difference with the latter app is that it has the PDF import capability, which I like. But it's not really suited well for just taking notes.
