I loved watching this video and seeing a 6th grader making age appropriate apps!  Really interesting and inspiring!

Thomas Suarez is a 6th grade student at a middle school in the South Bay. Tom been fascinated by computers and technology since before kindergarten. Recently, he's been focused on the development of applications for the iPhone, and has established his own company, CarrotCorp. His most successful app is one he terms "an anti-Justin-Bieber game" called "Bustin Jieber". "It's is a variation on the Whac-a-Mole theme," he explains.

First well done print and handwriting recognition app for iPad. Come try mine out if you want to see in action. Have been waiting a long time for this. There's a Spanish version too.

Hi everyone,
Yahoo has released a new newsreader app for the iPad called Livestand. It's free. Personally, I still like Zite, but this one has a unique interface that's worth checking out. Customizable, and like Zite it is supposed to learn your reading tastes as you go.
